The trouble is that the answer changes depending on how far in the future you look. Let’s say a factory releases a ton of methane and a ton of CO2 into the atmosphere today. The methane immediately begins to trap a lot of heat—at least 100 times as much as the CO2. But the methane starts to break down and leave the atmosphere relatively quickly. Methane, like CO2, is increasing rapidly in the atmosphere, and we know that newly emitted methane will do most of its damage in the first few decades after its release. Trancik says more scientists are beginning to model the warming effects that today’s methane emissions will have over the next 20 or 30 years, to more accurately predict whether humanity can avoid overshooting targets such as stopping global warming at 1.5 degrees Celsius.

For example, the common claim that natural gas cuts greenhouse emissions by half compared to burning coal2 may not be true if researchers measure how much heat will be trapped by new methane emissions in the short term rather than over a century.

I understand where (exactly) the Shiekh is coming from and understand but I'm not so sure if I need to make it my own necessarily either as well. I have a different understanding based on hadiths I've seen and the stories about the Prophet's S.A.W.'s kindness and mercy. I'm not a Wahhabbi supporter though, to be clear, on that matter as well though and it is a duty to try to pull people to the correct beliefs and ways, yes. I appreciate the Shiekh much and think he is doing good work and support him and am grateful for everything that I've learned from him. :

and families are destroyed and the bombs  keep falling we are amazed at the teachers

who continue their lessons in intense as their  schools and universities are reduced to rubble

and the bombs keep falling we are witnesses to the  destruction of the olive Groves and farmland and

the starving of the G garens and the bombs keep  falling even the dead are not spared with Graves

dug up and cemeteries desecrated and the bombs  keep falling the mosques have been destroyed but

the call to prayer still rings out across Gaza  as the faithful lift up their hearts to Heaven

amidst the rubble and the bombs keep falling  Gaza may be destroyed but the indomitable Spirit
